ISS are a straightforward umbrella company, with few frills - which isn't a problem. They don't go into full details of an umbrella company structure during their registration call and again some people may prefer that. They will explain their services in clear simple terms and have a good grasp of current complex legislation that affects you as a contractor.
They don't ask for receipts on all expenses and will claim subsistence expenditure on your behalf - just make sure you're claiming for actual expenditure as you're not meant to profit on this element. Their fees are 4% of invoice value though the net return you get remains competitive to other umbrella companies. Check the inclusive insurance levels are adequate for your contract, which if they are, means the ISS solution is a good option for contractors.
Their website is quite basic and does not go into any detail. As a customer, you can access your personal records from their web-portal, at your convenience, as well as using it to submit your time-sheet details each month.
